The main components of a Walkman player were dismantled in order to recompose a theatrical space. On a rectangular board, a loop of magnetic tape is coming out of a cassette to be read by the play head placed on the opposite side. The core of the scene, where two in-ear headphones covered with tiny masks are performing some talks and music, is physically outlined by the magnetic tape that “feeds” them. Saidu Ba, the obscure musician who recorded the cassette used in this piece, is both playing some “hodou” Mauritanian guitar and commenting on his own interpretation.

Scène d’aspect théâtral délimitée par une boucle de bande magnétique, sur laquelle un morceau du musicien mauritanien Saidu Ba a été recomposé. Le walkman (du côté droit de la scène) entraine la bande qui est lue par la tête de lecture (située à gauche) tandis que musique et voix sont amplifiées par les écouteurs.
